Terms of Service
1. Who we are
"SChaosMods" (we, us, our) operates the website at schaosmods.com and provides downloadable software that lets you script, inspect, and extend other software running on your own machine. These Terms govern your use of the website, the software, the licensing system, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher), to create an account or purchase a license. The Service is not intended for minors.
3. Account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity under your account. Sharing an account, sharing a license key, or attempting to circumvent device-binding controls is a material breach of these Terms and will result in revocation of all entitlements without refund.
4. Licenses
A purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the relevant product on a single device for the duration purchased. Licenses do not transfer between accounts. The software is licensed, not sold; we retain all intellectual property.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, mirror, or resell the software; (b) use the Service in any jurisdiction where doing so is unlawful; (c) attempt to bypass the licensing or anti-tamper systems; (d) use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm other users; or (e) interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
6. Third-party software
The Service is a general-purpose tool that you can attach to third-party software you are entitled to run. Third-party software may be governed by End User License Agreements that restrict inspection or modification. You are solely responsible for complying with any such third-party agreements. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party software vendor. Any consequences imposed by those vendors on your accounts are your responsibility and do not entitle you to a refund.
7. Payments & refunds
Prices are listed in USD and processed via crypto (BTCPay) or via NOWPayments. Crypto purchases are non-refundable by their nature. For card payments, contact us within 24 hours of purchase if the product never activated for you; we may offer a discretionary refund in good-faith cases.
8. Updates & availability
We ship updates on a rolling basis. We do not guarantee uptime or availability of any product on any given day. Extended outages do not entitle you to a refund unless they exceed half of your license's remaining term.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate any account for breach of these Terms, suspected abuse, fraudulent payment, or coordinated sharing. Termination revokes all entitlements without refund.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 90 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any action taken by third-party software vendors against accounts you use with the Service.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via the website at least seven days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that period constitutes acceptance.
